Obituary

Darlene Kay Greiner of La Pine, passed away in Bend on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the age of 70. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 1:00PM, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, located at 434 Grant St in Lebanon. A Reception will follow at the Legion.

Darlene was born on September 25, 1946 in Newport, OR to Floyd and Elsie (Young) Williams. She married the loved of her life, Neil Greiner, on September 28, 1968. She loved playing bingo, crawfishing, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 48 years; son Doug (wife Wendy) Greiner; daughter Shannon (husband Jeff) Short; step-son Neil Nielsen; step-daughters Laura (husband Jim) Movac and Debbie Brooks; five grandchildren Alex, Madison, and Dakota Short and Wyatt and Callie Greiner; and seven step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Allen, Steve, and Randy; and sisters Laurena and Toni.
