Obituary

Donald LeRoy Flowers, much loved Uncle and Brother, passed from this world to a better place on Friday, June 9, 2017, at the age of 90.
Donald was born in Portland, Oregon, August 29, 1926, to Clarence and Alice (Fleming) Flowers. The family moved to Terrebonne and then a few years later to the Bend area where he attended Richardson School. He later attended Redmond Union High before entering the Army near the end of WWII.
After being discharged he went to work with the GI on the job training program at Leo Eggs Blacksmith Shop and stayed there when it became Bates Ayres and until ill health forced his retirement. Don's life enjoyments were hunting, fishing and spoiling his nieces and nephews.
Don is survived by his two sisters, Barbara Stoutenburg of Dayton, Oregon, and Irma Forrester of Terrebonne, Oregon, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and even a great grandniece. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ralph Flowers of Tigard, Oregon.

At Don's request, no services will be held.
