Frieda Maye (Releford) Anderson passed away at Parners in Care January 31, 2017 with her family by her side.
Frieda Anderson was born February 11, 1935 in Zanesville Township (Barnett) Illinois to Bessie (Spears) and Lloyd Releford. She grew up and attended school in Litchfield Illinois. During this time, she spent a lot of her spare time with her sister, Betty (Coffelt-Lutz) going to dances and roller skating. She moved to Virginia, but soon returned before her family moved to Oregon. She worked as a secretary at the University of Illinois, then Coca-Cola Company until she decided to join her family.
Once in Oregon, she worked as a secretary for Loren Tide Finance before she met the love of her life, John Anderson in Redmond and they were married in 1962, and have lived in Bend ever since. They have 3 children, Susan Romero of Oakland, CA, John Anderson of Bend and Kristi Toman of Bend.
Frieda loved spending time with her family and recording those special moments in admirable photo albums, decorating for every holiday and preparing holiday & Sunday dinners for her family. She enjoyed interior decorating and beautifying her charming flower gardens.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and remembered for her beautiful, kind, loving, warm-hearted, generous spirit.
Frieda is survived by her husband, John, her children, Susan, Kristi, John & his wife, Julie, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Discovery Church (334 Newport Ave.) on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
