Boone Harrison

January 6, 1966 - July 1, 2019
Born in Weaverville, California
Resided in La Pine, Oregon

Boone Harrison was born January 6, 1966 and passed in to his eternal life on July 1, 2019 at the age of 53. From the moment his Mama held him, she knew he was so very special. His birth name Darren only lasted about 3 days. His late Grandpa Bud Jackson pegged him as Boone and that is what his friends & family knew him as.

Boone was raised in Hayfork, CA by his parents Hap and Thea Harrison with his late brother Derek and little sis Julie. Boone's life was filled with, you guessed it, hunting, fishing, family and friends...and maybe a little mischief along the way. Upon graduating from Hayfork High School in 1984, Boone immediately enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served his country, returning to Hayfork when he received his Honorable Discharge in 1987. Soon after that Boone was blessed when he met his wife, Tammy Novinger.

Boone and Tammy married on June 18, 1988. Six (6) years later, along came their first son, Travis Wiley Harrison. Boone was so proud! They had to give Travis a little brother to pick on, so Benjamin Edwin Harrison showed up three (3) years later. The Boone Harrison family was complete. As the years went by, both boys and Tammy spent their time, you guessed it again, hunting, fishing and enjoying memorable moments with friends and family.

Boone was kind, gentle and genuine. He loved the Lord with unquestionable faith, wearing his faith on one sleeve and his love for his family on the other.

Boone is preceded by his dad Hap Harrison; parents Cliff & Glenna Novinger; his little brother Derek Harrison; and, his nephew Dobe Harrison.

He is survived by his wife Tammy; sons Travis and Ben; mama Thea; little sis Julie; Uncle Curt and Aunt Debbie; cousin Beki; nephew Darren; nieces Rachel, Sara and Katelin; and, many close friends who were and always will be family.

The family would love you to share your memorable moments of Boone in the condolence section of the guestbook.
