Robert (Bob) Struble passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 7th at the age of 77, holding hands with his beloved wife Mindy who was at his side.

Son of Arthur Linn & Amy Ann Struble, he was born in Burlington, IA.
Bob is survived by his wife Mindy, sons Chris (Kelly) Eric and Trebor (Blair), grandchildren Matthew, Soren, Taylor Jane & Tennyson and his sister Marilyn Larson Monroe.

Bob graduated with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Portland State University. For years he worked in the public sector working with/for Multnomah County juvenile system as well as the youth program director for the City of Portland. He was responsible for writing & securing grants for many different youth programs. His background also included a successful career in sales & marketing in the private sector.

Bob will be remembered for his big smile, twinkling blue eyes & true kindness, as well as his loving and steadfast commitment to his family, his eager pursuit of adventure, like getting his pilot’s license and skydiving (before tandem was required). He’ll mostly be remembered for his quick witted sense of humor. He will live on in a great wealth of stories with tales of daring deeds, ambitious ventures, and a great many feats of mischief.

At Bob’s request we will be holding a Memorial “party” for family & friends to gather & share their memories of the many shenanigans he enjoyed & loved sharing.

The date is April 18th, 2020, in Bend.RSVP to Mindy via, if you’d like more info on the memorial party.
