William "Bill" Arnold Moon, age 70, died January 28th, 2020 at his home in Bend, Oregon.

He is survived by his four children Morgan, Billy (Brazil), Chelsea (Graham), Chaney (T.J.), eight grandchildren Blayde, Kyllian, Leah, Atiana, Lillian, Billy, Arcelia, Sophia, mother Mavis, brother Jeff, and sister Georgina.
He was preceded in death by his father William "Bill".

Bill was born in Charles City, Iowa on November 11th, 1949 to the late William "Bill" Claire Moon and Mavis Arlene (Knight-Moon) Leavson. He moved to Eugene, Oregon in 1974. He fell in love with the beautiful landscape and culture so much, he called Oregon "home" the rest of his life. He was a construction worker for many years, and helped build many parts of Eugene. In 2000 he moved to Bend, Oregon where he spent his remaining years to be closer to his family. Most recently, he was on a pool team, and won many medals and trophies.

He loved going to concerts, fishing, reading Stephen King novels, listening to music and relaxing. He was very smart and could say all the answers while watching Jeopardy, and was full of trivial knowledge as well. He was always up to date on the news and current events, and was passionate about human rights and politics. Everyone that met Bill knew him for being funny. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and (mostly inappropriate) humor.
